We need more women in insurance. We also need more women in senior leadership. So, we started LiiFT: to bring together the brightest minds and boldest dreams, to inspire and empower the Leaders in Insurance For Tomorrow.
What is LiiFT?
A dedicated, industry-wide mentoring program, LiiFT supports the growth and development of women in insurance. Running annually from September to June, LiiFT provides an opportunity for women in the industry to develop skills, build networks, and learn from those who have walked the path before them.
Why does it exist?
LiiFT is designed to influence the insurance industry landscape at executive and senior leader levels to give more women seats at the tables that matter. This is not about recruiting graduates into the industry, though that will come. This is about changing the face of insurance leadership – and we’re starting at the top.
How does it work?
Through LiiFT's personalised mentoring program, individuals are paired with executive or senior leader insurance professionals from some of Australia's most prominent insurance firms. Over the course of the program, each pair meets regularly to share knowledge, advice and guidance, equipping both mentors and mentees with tools and experience to further their careers.
