Responsible supply chain

We have updated our onboarding process for suppliers in Australia to incorporate express acceptance of our Supplier Code of Practice. New suppliers are required to confirm they understand and comply with the Code, including expectations in relation to human rights and workplace conditions, safety and wellbeing, environmental impacts, product safety and data protection and privacy. 

Suncorp’s Board believes the highest standards of corporate governance are essential for sustaining long-term company performance and creating value for its shareholders and key stakeholders. The Board is committed to maintaining a robust governance system and promoting a culture that values responsible, ethical behaviour and integrity. We expect our suppliers to share these values.

Our procurement practices play an important role in providing opportunities, including employment, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. We work with Supply Nation to increase our understanding of the benefits of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses to maximise our partnerships. Through Suncorp’s Supplier Code of Practice, we reinforce our commitments to diversity.
