Suncorp recently hosted its Consumer Advocate Day bringing together multiple external consumer advocates with senior leaders from across our business.
The day saw our senior management and employees discuss the issues impacting their clients, our customers and consumers.
Matt Leslie, Suncorp’s Group Customer Advocate, said the forum facilitated two-way dialogue on important issues impacting people in the communities in which we operate.
“Listening to customers and those who advocate for them is critical to meeting community expectations,” said Mr Leslie.
“The feedback we receive from these advocacy groups helps our understanding and approach when serving customers, including society’s most vulnerable.
“This sentiment shone through, with our leaders authentically addressing concerns and answering questions about the Royal Commission.”
The day was attended by team members from Suncorp’s Insurance, Banking & Wealth, Customer Marketplace, along with representatives from National Australia Bank, Uniting Kildonan, Financial Counselling Australia, Legal Aid, and Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
